Staff Security Officer - Full Scope Poly Required

Responsibilities

The SP shall provide a SP Staff Security Officer (C/SSO). The C/SSO shall serve as the Office of Security’s point of contact for security matters associated with this Contract and its Sub-SPs.

The SP shall designate a back-up C/SSO with the full authority to perform the C/SSO duties in the absence of the primary C/SSO. The SP C/SSO shall obtain the SITE C/SSO certification (In-House C/SSO Course).

The SP shall coordinate personnel security matters with the SITE Office of Security. The C/SSO shall monitor the SP’s compliance with the DD Form 254, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) ((Department of Defense (DoD) 5220.22-M)), Industrial Security Regulation (ISR) (DoD 5220.22-R) and Office of Security Services Policy Issuance 10-10, Industrial Security Program.

The C/SSO shall notify the designated SITE Industrial Security Officer of any non-compliance and implement corrective action. The C/SSO shall monitor the SP’s compliance with the SITE’s security program, notify the COR and the Office of Security of any non-compliance, and implement corrective action.

Qualifications

Must have experience in providing and managing site security and overseeing security operations for intelligence Community site.

Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of site security and experience leading and training teams of security staff.

Minimum Ten (10) years of directly related security experience.

Excellent writing, teaching, briefing skills; proven ability to work well on a staff of Government site and with contractors.

Experience in briefing senior officials.
