About the RoleWorks collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop solutions following Agile development principles and practices. Is influential and engages actively in building out a dynamic and productive development organization and continuously improving practices and methodology. Designs and develops applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance and re-use Provides technical expertise in the areas of architecture, design, implementation, and testing. Sets and adheres to software coding and style guides to ensure consistency. Participates in pairing and code reviews. Support (2nd level) and troubleshoot problems with existing applications. With a DevOps mindset, improve the overall quality of the product leveraging clean code, test automation, CI/CD practices and smart monitoring. Able to mentor and guides others who are still developing their skills.

Salary Range: $206,315- $228,000
Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and state requirements.

1. REST Webservices to build open modern APIs in microservice architecture that can be exposed externally;

2. Kafka and MQ Series;

3. Robust understanding of Java 11 and an in-depth understanding of other Java technologies, including Servlets, JSP, JDBC, JMS, Spring;

4. Oracle, Cosmos, Mongo, Azure MySQL to effectively build apps on-prem and on Cloud infrastructure;

5. PCF and Azure to build and deploy apps that comply to cloud standards such as following the basic 12 factor principles and effectively leverage cloud infrastructure options;

6. Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA Implementations);

7. DevOps, building CICD pipelines, and Test Automation Framework; and

8. Logistics, fulfillment and 3PL.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Engineering, or related field and seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Software development or Fulfillment and Logistics-related role or in the job offered.
