**About the Role**
• Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) backend technologies - SFRA, Controllers, Pipelines, ISML, OCAPI, Page designer, Promotions, customization, model view controller (MVC) and agile development.
• SEO, products & Catalogs, search, checkout, interface customization
• Participate in requirement gathering and technical design discussions.
• Design highly scalable and high performing technology solutions for Gap’s technology stack.
• Hands-on experience of integrating custom services into SFCC.
• Good exposure of payment, tax, and operation management suite (OMS) integrations
• Good exposure to Agile tools and CICD tools like JIRA & Jenkins.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-centered designs and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Lead the team and guide the engineers technically on blockers
• Own the completion of functional stories aligned in a sprint and ensure delivery with quality
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new programming languages and tools.
• Demonstrate problem solving, analytical abilities, proof of concepts abilities and self-motivation.
• Demonstrate strong mentoring and technically lead capabilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment
• Should be a good team player
• Translate feature ideas into actionable product requirements for developers (written and verbal)
• Should be available to involve in production support and work in critical incidents
**What You'll Do**
+ _Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 8+ years relevant experience and a minimum of 4+ years of Development/Implementation experience in SFCC Backend technologies_
+ Must have at least 3 successful project implementation experience
+ Should be aware about E2E and UAT processes
+ Strong understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Backend Technologies Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), SFRA, Controllers, Pipelines, ISML, OCAPI, Page designer, Promotions, customization, model view controller (MVC) and agile development.
+ Should have handled a team of 3 or more engineers
+ Knowledge of third party integrations
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
+ Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).
+ Experience in Incidents or Project maintenance tasks.
**Who You Are**
+ **Optional Preferred Skills:**
+ SFCC certifications
+ Good functional understanding of Retail domain or development experience in Digital Ecommerce division
+ _Exposure to application development_ in GCP cloud or Azure Kubernetes
+ Knowledge in monitoring tools like GCP Logging Dashboard, NewRelic etc..
