As a part of the Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team, you will be responsible for developing critical risk and fraud prevention applications and services. Your work will involve:

Idea Generation & Architecture: Contribute to the brainstorming, design, and architecture of new solutions.Development & Testing: Develop and test applications using bleeding-edge AI tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and other homegrown solutions.Innovation & Impact: Design new software solutions or refactor existing ones to enhance maintainability, all while making a significant impact on our products and services.Application Performance: Passion for optimizing the performance of complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities: 

Lead product development with cross-functional teams, including engineering leads, engineers, product managers, architects, and client support teams, throughout the entire development cycle.Develop robust and scalable architectural solutions, considering integrations with other solutions across the internal technical ecosystem.Drive awareness of performance-related techniques and issues within the development team to ensure optimal product performance.Provide domain expertise for user documentation and implement standard processes to ensure consistency and clarity.Deliver new product features end-to-end, playing a significant role in their development and ensuring they meet business requirements.Apply sound engineering practices consistently to improve business outcomes and enhance product quality.Mentor team members, conduct project-level design reviews, and guide the team through necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and product managers to drive and facilitate feature grooming, user story development, functional and technical specifications, workflow designs, and use cases.Stay updated on emerging technologies, proactively assessing and evaluating their adoption into the organization to stay competitive.Perform proof of concepts and technical evaluations on new technologies, designs, and solutions to determine their feasibility and potential impact.Be flexible to accommodate cross-region team development time and address urgent production issues as they arise.Develop performance test plans and strategies in conjunction with new software development to ensure products meet performance standards.Develop and acquire performance testing tools and frameworks and implement test software for acceptance to validate product performance.Execute exploratory testing.Acceptance of new features/releases as part of a story-driven Agile development process to ensure product quality.Serve as an advisor to development teams on enhancing performance, providing guidance and expertise to improve product efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field) OR 8+ years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (Master's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science, Information Systems or related field) or Minimum 12+ years of directly related experience.
You have proven experience leading teams that have delivered high-quality scalable applications.
You are a Java expert, with substantial experience in Java microservices frameworks such as Spring or Quarkus. Experience with REST APIs, JSON and exposure to container-based technologies.
At least three (3) years of hands-on experience with container-based technologies.
Profound knowledge of SQL, No-SQL databases, and data streaming/queuing technologies like AMQ and Kafka.
Should have experience with performance testing frameworks/tools (Jmeter, Loadrunner, VuGen etc). Optimize applications and solutions by implementing performance enhancements based on insights from data and telemetry analyses.
Experience with monitoring and telemetry tools like Splunk, Atternity, Grafana etc
Should have very good understanding in GenAI adoption.
Solid understanding of secure coding practices and expertise in mitigating security vulnerabilities.
Experience with HTML5, SASS/CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with modern JavaScript UI frameworks such as React, Redux, Angular JS.
You have strong experience with Agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, utilizing technologies such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, JUnit Ensure proper metrics instrumentation in software components, to help facilitate real time and remote troubleshooting/performance monitoring.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux and working in a shell environment.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,700.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
