We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Network Systems Engineer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/SZ) portfolio. The position is available in Dayton, OH.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Support enterprise integration and modernization of tactical level Command, Control & Communications (C3) capabilities to transform satellite operations and improve resiliency.
- Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance for all projects and programs, as required, to support any stage of the acquisition life cycle.
- Perform requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and verification.
- Provide detailed, executable recommendations to support driving down risk
- Perform engineering analyses to predict and define problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation of systems.
- Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches.
- Participate or lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines and ensure system modifications meet requirements.
- Support cyber testing and assessment activities
- Provide recommendations regarding cyber activities, including techniques, packets, and mission partner responsibilities

- Experience developing required documentation to setup communications connectivity at military installations.

- Highly knowledgeable in classified network systems engineering processes and procedures, including but not limited to requirements development, configuration control, and authority to operate procedures

- Demonstrates ability to develop, update, and coordinate network operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills.
- Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.
- MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
