Staff Technical Data Analyst
Overview Our analytics team is a growing team here at Mailchimp to support our strategic initiatives across Product Management, Engineering and Design as Mailchimp continues to evolve. We are seeking a motivated and energetic staff technical data analyst to support the growth of the analytics function of this team. As the team grows, there is a stronger need of optimizing and centralizing the data assets and capabilities that every analysts rely on. We are looking for a Staff Technical Data Analyst, who is intellectually curious and extremely self-driven, with a proven track record of leading analytics support for a critical or high-growth business areas. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate a problem-solving and extreme ownership mindset. What you'll bring + Highly proficient in SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau. Having extensive knowledge and experience with Qlik product is a plus. + Proven track records of developing and managing complex analytics data mart and data pipelines is a must-have. + Proven track records of developing and managing complex dashboards is a must-have. + Multiple years of experience in applying advanced analytics techniques such as python, ML models, LLM, etc., is highly preferred. + Ability to create analytical framework for solving complex business problems with proven track record. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives. + Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical. Be able to communicate effectively with senior executives. + Experience of managing junior analysts is a plus. + Minimum Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered How you will lead + Develop and manage key success metrics and leading indicators for providing holistic understanding of how the business is performing and whether each initiative/program is delivering the desired outcomes. + Design, develop and manage complex data marts which can cover most data that the team needs daily, partnering with data engineers. Be responsible for the availability and quality of the data. Be able to debug and fix data issues quickly. + Develop and manager dashboards to monitor business performance and enable self-service. + Communicate data and insights effectively to business partners of all levels including senior leadership team. + Collaborate with analysts and data engineers across different analytics teams to work on cross-functional projects or develop analytics capabilities. + Use robust data skills to deeply interact with data across the organization, acting as data doctors to diagnose and drive resolution of data issues and provide support on tools and processes + Develop and maintain robust documentation of data sources, definitions, systems and processes + Identify data discrepancies between systems, and define and drive resolutions with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, advocating for ideal-state architecture todeliver consistent targeting data across all marketing systems + Monitor data quality, perform data cleansing, and develop data validation protocols for marketing data and systems + Support data definitions and data mapping requirements across Intuit business units in support of cross-functional marketing initiatives + Coach and develop junior analysts in the team.
