Description & Responsibilities

Skyworks is seeking a full time Staff Test Engineer for our Austin, TX based Power/Isolation team.  As a member of the team, you will participate in developing test plans, designing ATE and qualification hardware. You will plan the staffing, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating Power/Isolation devices. You will develop test programs for Mixed Signal ATE characterization, qualification, and production test solutions. Test implementation will include probe and package-level responsibilities during device development and mass production. The position requires a strong background in hardware and software development on ATE platforms. Experience in performing bench level measurements, correlation, and debug is also required. Once in mass production, the position requires manufacturing improvement efforts to achieve optimal test times, test quality improvements, yield enhancements, etc.

Required Experience and Skills

- BSEE and 8+ years’ or MSEE and 5+ years' experience with Mixed Signal ATE Test development.

- Familiarity with C/C++, Java, Visual Basic programming.
- Experience in Automotive and ASIL products is preferred.
- Excellent organization skills as well as strong verbal and written communication.
- Semiconductor industry/manufacturing environment experience required.

 

Desired Experience and Skills

- Familiarity with a schematic capture tool such as OrCad, Altium desired.
- Familiarity with Advantest V93000, Chroma 3650, Teradyne J750, IFLEX is preferred.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $112,500 - $215,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
