As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you are a hands-on leader with exceptional communication skills. You are responsible for planning and executing all product development activities including new product introductions, cost reduction, technology integration, and lifecycle product support. You will leverage your engineering background to understand the product requirements, manage technical risks, and lead the team to resolve complex issues within the existing schedule. The right candidate has a proven track record leading large cross-functional teams through a gated product development process, resulting in successful product launches.
What You Will Be Doing
As a part of the Clean Energy Product group, you will be part of developing next generation clean energy solutions, accelerating our progress towards a sustainable energy future. You will play a leading role in creating and executing product development plans for Generac’s clean energy products.
Responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S. in a technical discipline: engineering, physics, or equivalent. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.8+ years of progressive work experience in engineering, project engineering, project or program management, product management, or related new product development field5+ years of technical program management experience leading cross-functional teams in design, development, and manufacturing of electrical equipment, power electronics, or other similar products. Ability to travel up to 20%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Compensation: Generac Clean Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary for this role is $150,000 - $199,000 based on a variety of factors including Geographic location. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives
