Raytheon Self Protect Systems creates some of the most advanced radar protection systems in the world. Our team works onsite in Goleta, CA that supports and tests these state-of-the-art systems protecting our war fighters. Our team members are inspired, organized, collaborative, and adaptable.
What You Will Do
Test Technicians work in a production environment using testing techniques to evaluate circuit boards, electromechanical modules, and RF Payloads and systems.You will have excellent communications skills, work well in active multitasking team environments with competing goals from multiple programs and organizations. The ability to obtain and maintain additional program access as required.Our Technicians are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, smock, and gloves.All work will be done on 2nd shiftThis is a full-time (minimum 40 hours per week) position. Overtime is frequently required.Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience.Minimum 1 year experience with electrical schematics.Minimum 1 year experience with RF Testing.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:
Familiarity with Foreign Object Debris/Damage (FOD) and FOD reduction/prevention methods.Prior Testing experience in RF testing environmentWhat We Offer

The salary range for this role is 48,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
