Call us at 812-238-7827 or email us at recruiting@uhhg.org Staffing Coordinator Essential Job Duties: + Oversees all staffing/scheduling changes and daily hospital admissions/discharges/transfers for nursing units. + Coordinates and provides patient care staffing to ensure all shifts are staffed appropriately. + Uses critical thinking skills to prioritize placement of admissions and transfers. + Collaborates with medical staff, hospital employees, and referring physicians for patient placement. + Is courteous, professional, and effectively communicates appropriate information. + Demonstrates appropriate conduct and positive attitude. Education, Training & Experience + Excellent English and reading skills + Functional or working knowledge of computers required. + Associate degree in healthcare related field. + Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field preferred/required within 3 years of hire.
