THE ROLEThe Staffing Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the company venues are fully staffed for all events. Moreover, the staffing manager will also support all other staffing-related functions. The staffing manager will work with both the operations team and human resources departments to ensure that they have enough employees staffed to meet demand related to all events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Working with human resources and operations managers to coordinate and schedule both new hire orientation and retraining classes. Facilitate internal and external job fair recruitment processes and interview processes. Partnering with operators to determine staffing levels during events. Create staffing templates. Schedule staff. Analyzes data for staffing requirements and coordinates with managers and heads of departments. Ensure adequate staffing for Kitchens, Concessions, Bar, Club, Suites and Catering operations. Ensures compliance for updating union seniority list. Monitors staffing schedules and stays in touch with staff and communicates with department managers. Notifies employees of any changes in schedule. Aid team members and communicate necessary information. Actively participate in weekly staffing meetings. Assist with temp labor; NPO, coordinating meetings, review/reconcile rosters for invoice purposes. Ensures event day attendants are compliant with schedules and operational needs. Supports scheduling coordinators with scheduling process and oversees department schedules. Interact with staff, resolve staffing related issues. Assists with and further develops event day employee "check in" processes and procedures. Oversee uniform room attendants. Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years staffing experience in a high volume and fast paced working environment. 4-year college degree preferred or an equivalent of knowledge and work experience. Ability to train and motivate staffing coordinators. Must be able to interact successfully with all staff, co-workers, and recruitment agencies. Ability to multi-task. COMPENSATIONCompetitive salary of $68,640.00 commensurate with experience and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
