Staffing Specialist
  MAU is hiring a Staffing Specialist in Newberry, SC. As a Staffing Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and processing candidates for client site(s). This role manages the hiring process, including orientation and onboarding, to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the project.  This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Career Path Staffing Supervisor Sr. Staffing Specialist Associate Relations Leader Other Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required 1-3 years of human resource and recruiting experience Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor's degree Experience in Human Resources or a manufacturing environment HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred Lean Green Belt certification Training in root cause analysis Knowledge of powered industrial equipment General Requirements Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Customer and client-focused mindset Proficiency in problem-solving and analysis Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Upholds ethical standards and integrity Demonstrate personal effectiveness and credibility Essential Functions Collaborate daily with department leadership to assess staffing needs and meet hiring deadlines Communicate personnel requests, including department, skill level, and target start dates Oversee onboarding and training for all new hires at the facility Act as the primary point of contact for all recruiting needs on-site Track and analyze workforce performance data Identify workforce challenges and implement corrective actions Serve as a liaison between associates and department leaders to address concerns and ensure smooth operations Maintain and submit accurate attendance records Notify supervisors of employee absences promptly Conduct quality reviews of employee performance Monitor and report safety concerns or policy violations Verify time records for all employees on shift Distribute locks, lockers, and uniforms (if applicable) to new employees Inform employees of assignment completions or terminations Prepare and submit required site management reports on schedule Coordinate with client supervisors on workforce needs and potential new requirements Ensure accurate and timely submission of weekly payroll Interview and assessment candidates for client site roles Maintain a strong applicant pipeline through job postings, sourcing strategies, and recruitment analysis Review work orders regularly and engage with customers to align staffing efforts Develop and update orientation programs for new and existing clients Administer client-required assessments as needed Travel Requirements Must be flexible to travel between various client locations and the branch office. Approximately 15% of travel is expected.
