Staffing Specialist (Temporary – 11 months)

What You'll Do

Staffing is a business-critical function at the heart of what we do at BCG. The function’s main task is to allocate consultants on client cases. The Staffing Specialist works closely with the local staffing team and the Business Director to ensure the best possible allocation and utilization of office resources. The position is temporary for 11 months. There might be a possibility for an extension, but we can’t promise anything at this stage.


You will strive for excellence in all staffing processes towards internal staff and the senior Partner group. You will be a member of the broader Nordic Staffing team, attending and actively contributing to regular weekly staffing/business development calls. Furthermore, key tasks include:

Having full overview and control of all Associates in the Stockholm officeMaintaining an overview of upcoming projects and expected staffing requirementsAssigning staff to projects, proposals and other sales development workPlanning and assessing Associates' availability on a weekly basisCommunicating staffing decisions to Associates and Consultants and being their contact person in staffing related mattersPreparing and participating in pipeline meetingsParticipating in career development meetings to understand the strengths and development needs of consultantsManaging staffing information in relevant systems: SAM staffing tool, Teaming survey tool, Trello etc.Acting as point of contact to the global staffing team and managing Cross Office Staffing requestsSupporting staff analyses and ensuring smooth communication with all stakeholders involved: Consulting Staff, Finance, Nordic HR and Global Staffing

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree, preferably within business or HRApproximately 3 years of relevant working experiencePC proficient with a focus on MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Good computing skills, comfortable with IT/system toolsExcellent written and verbal communication in English

Who You'll Work With

This role will allows you to work with diverse teams within BCG such as Finance and recruiting. You will have very close interactions with CDC(Performance management) and local HR on an ongoing basis where your inputs will play a significant role in shaping careers of our junior associates in the firm.
