Team Overview and Job responsibilities

Working within the overall HSE department world-wide, He/She will support the HSE Processes in all reporting activities helping to manage deadlines and to generate consolidated dashboards.

 

HSE specialist will be required to carry on the day by day reporting of the whole HSE department world-wide being in contact with all Prysmian countries in order to ensure the reliability of all information and to respect deadlines. He/She will be required to support in the consolidation & analysis of all data using available IT existing Tools.

 

HSE specialist has to:

Manage Actual day by day HSE Reports (mainly related to Sustainability Environmental KPI – ex.: CO2eq, energy project savings, waste and water project ecc…)Maintain frequent contact with countries and support them in the implementation of the environmental management system and, in particular, of the standard environmental risk assessment processesSupport in the consolidation and analysis of environmental data using all the systems availableMonitoring and reporting about new legislation/guidelines at international level about EnvironmentIdentify eventual points of weakness of actual systems and propose improvements, understand process issues and propose solutions – Implement new dashboard or processes, where necessaryPerform if requested specific audits of the Environmental Management System (ISO certified) and/or specific topics (ex.: Asbestos, emissions etc…)

 

Who are we looking for?

Analytic mindset, creativity and attention for details are necessary for this type of job. Social attitudes and communications skills are recommended to be really useful in supporting countries.

Good capacity on reporting procedures and define processes is key.

Microsoft officeExcel: Excellent skills – VBA knowledge is a plusAccess: Good skillsPower Point: Good skillsFluent English language knowledge,Networking and coordination skillsEnvironmental Management System, Risk Assessment and auditing basicsTechnical University degree, Environmental Engineering preferred
