Stage Technician (Must be referred through IATSE Local 363)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

 

Install audio, décor, electrical, lighting, rigging and video equipment used for meetings, performances, events and exhibits to speciation Operates/Monitors all said installed equipment to client/guest satisfaction Strike all equipment to the room/venue’s original default state Reading and math skills required Understands various convention exposition, entertainment and audio visual design layouts Take measurements Can provide safe equipment operation Work with both internal and external guest/clients Must be patient Works with tact and diplomacy Acquire accurate information Will solve customer concerns within GSR’s Guidelines Required to understand, speak, read and write English Understands all caution and safety information and notices Completes all job assignments Can communication with other Team Members, guests and clients

Education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to fulfill the position requirements

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, team members and others.  Is regularly required to sit; stand; walk and move through all areas of the casino; speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance visions, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
