As part of our Stamping Engineering team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles the world expects from us. Within our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. Stamping Engineering is a cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to support our manufacturing plants and implement the launch of new vehicle programs at plants across North America and Mexico. The Spare part Project Coordinator candidate will be a part of this team and be responsible for the following:
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to support launch programs. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Strong Project Management skills and result-oriented mindset Strong computer skills (Excel, Power Point, etc.) Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints. Able to read & understand mechanical and electrical drawings. Energetic personality that is eager to dive in and solve issues. Ability to travel including extended travel to assembly and component plants in US, Canada, and/or Mexico required.Preferred Qualifications
Automotive Spare Parts experience 5+ years

What you'll do
Review all CPARS Part Specification (1295) Requests Ensure all requisitions meet approved criteria. Ensure where used information is completed. Update and publish 1295 metrics. Track Progress of 1295 from start to implementation. Liaison between the Spare Parts Suppliers and the CEC for New Program Launch Coordinate activities of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Commodity Management Suppliers (CMS) to ensure all requirements of Customer relevant to Program Timing and customer expectations. Gather, analyze, and interpret data provided by Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Suppliers pertinent to program launch. Coordinate resolution of all issues with designated Stamping Engineer Work with I.M. Analyst to ensure proper set up of spare parts is maintained. Review and update related procedures and work instructions. Coordinate and attend plant & program meetings. Research and develop 5-year spare parts budget for Stamping Engineering Available to track down critical spare parts during and after hours as required. Load spare parts data in Maximo to assigned assets. Work and maintain relationship with Ford General Stores to assist with special inventory requirements from Stamping Engineering. Work with Ford corporate finance for special inventory transactions (General Accounting return to inventory items) Perform other miscellaneous activities and special projects as requested by Management. Write Program “RFQ’s” in CPARS and Aurora Portals
