**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator experienced with Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Trucks to join our team. The role involves working in a food manufacturing warehouse, handling materials, loading and unloading trucks, and managing inventory in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate Crown Stand Up Reach, Stand Up Forklift, and Reach Trucks. + Handle materials within a freezer environment. + Load and unload trucks. + Conduct inventory management and cycle counting. + Pick and palletize products using RF scanners. + Ensure compliance with GMP standards. + Move product in and out of shelves efficiently. **Essential Skills** + Experience operating stand up forklifts. + Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes. + Ability to use a pallet jack. + Proficient in material handling and picking. + Experience with RF scanners. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a freezer environment. + Ability to work in a very fast-paced setting. + Capability to keep up with production demands. **Why Work Here?** Join our team and receive new cold gear after a full week of work. There is an opportunity to join the union if you become a permanent employee. **Work Environment** The facility is a large food manufacturing plant with over 400 employees working across two shifts. The operation includes multiple loading docks and various stages of food processing such as sizing, splitting, cutting, frying, and freezing. Forklift drivers will spend most of their day in the freezer but will receive a 10-minute break every hour away from the freezer. Shifts available include 7 AM to 3:30 PM and 5 PM to 1:30 AM, with some flexibility on start times. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Franklin Park, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
