How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


Job Description Summary: The On-Sites Commercial Manager is responsible for development of On-site business opportunities within an assigned geographical sales area. The Commercial Manager will maximize sales and profitability while achieving customer satisfaction objectives and adhering to Airgas Safety and Compliance standards.

Identify and/or generate on-site business opportunities for industrial gases

Assess customer requirements, determine appropriate on-site solution, and perform preliminary project economic feasibility studies to establish proposed pricing

based on the IM Onsite product portfolio (including FLOXAL products)

Prepare and present proposals and contracts and lead negotiations with customer through to closing

Understand competitors’ offers, strategy and supply position in local markets and develops business development plans accordingly

Demonstrate an advance understanding of the business drivers for industrial merchant on-site business

Monitor and analyze the trend/outlook of customer industries and specific accounts that may affect our business

Develop long-term relationships with key customers by focusing on changing needs and economic environment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Engineering or Business preferred.

Minimum five years commercial experience.

Previous experience managing projects from idea generation to full execution


Preferred Qualifications

Previous industrial gas/air separation experience
