As our Standardization Director, you will be an important leader working cross-functionally to standardize our operations for Epic-based clients nationally. This effort stands to significantly accelerate healthcare’s accessibility, affordability, and efficiency. Every day you will design, document, and deploy continuously improving operational standards that result in revenue generation, cost savings, client value, and growth. In addition to assisting clients in optimizing the value of their investments in Epic, you will help design and deploy integration points for our own technologies, that further accelerate positive outcomes for patients and providers. To accomplish this, you will coordinate decisions around technology, operations, all with an eye toward comprehensive performance improvement at scale.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Standardization Director:
Leverage your industry and systems expertise to continuously improve our playbook for RCM operational excellence – bringing the best of R1 and Epic tools to life seamlessly
Assist operational counterparts and customers in optimizing the best of both Epic’s systems and R1’s operating capabilities, paired together
Partner with Executive-level operations counterparts to assess operational current state vs. our documented standard operating model
Oversee and coordinate revenue enhancement initiatives and business operations across all aspects of the revenue cycle for client hospitals.
Work with client executive leadership collaboratively to drive standardization in partnership, breaking down siloes or resolving disputes where needed.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in healthcare
Experience leading complex revenue cycle management operations, especially in an Epic centralized billing office setting
Exceptional organizational skills to manage complex changes with a variety of interdependent pieces
Experience with Epic is a must
Background working with healthcare data such as 837s/835s, FHIR/CCDA, clinical documentation, etc.
Resilient, self-motivated, pragmatic team player who is process oriented with a critical eye for detail
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $109,118.00 - $187,269.24 per year .
