Business Area Overview
The Qualifications Processing (QP) directorate consists of several areas, which work together to deliver General and Vocational Qualification operations throughout the year. The Results Resolution team supports the delivery of accurate results to every candidate in each examination session.
About the Role
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, the purpose of this role is to ensure the effective delivery of the SV reporting process during exam series. Working to tight immovable deadlines to ensure all reports from Standards Verifiers (SV) have been received. The postholder will also provide support on complex queries to our Customer Service, Assessment teams and the AA help desk.
This role is office based. Location Hellaby, Rotherham.
Key Accountabilities
Supporting the Reports Processing Coordinator on all processing activities To provide a customer focused service, ensuring both written and verbal communication is clear and concise, and that all communicated information is accurate To interpret and utilise management information and make informed decisions from it, and escalate as appropriate Ensuring reports for UK and International SV’s have been chased and received, all queries relating to reporting are completed within agreed service levels To gather information to support the resolution of complaints and queries as directed by line manager Work in other areas of the business as requiredProcess Specific
Due to the nature of the examination process, the volume of work varies through the year. Chase SV’s for outstanding reports Liaising with SV’s and other internal and external stakeholders Resolving SV and centre queries and issues with direct claim status. Provide support to other teams on a range of queries including system related issuesWhat we are looking for:
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, effectively managing multiple tasks and activities while maintaining a high standard of delivery. Time management skills are essential, ensuring efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate-level Excel skills, is crucial for handling data and administrative tasks with accuracy.
Additionally, prior experience within an Awarding Organisation and a background in customer service would be advantageous, providing valuable insights into industry-specific processes and enhancing overall service quality.
