This role will perform end to end testing, programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned customer projects. Will work all throughout the Central Texas area, do not have to be based in Waco.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform check, test, and start of HVAC controls, on a variety of systems. Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Perform all duties related to the installing, commissioning and servicing of building controls in a safe and timely manner. Will provide top level customer service and be professional in all customer situations. Complete all proper owner training and documentation. Attend all required training provided by the company and actively works to stay current on all industry related topics. Must utilize all PPE and perform all work to company safety standards at all times.

Qualifications

Minimum High School diploma or GED. Some college preferred and/or the equivalent work experience.Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required. Experience with an accounting system is a plus.Demonstrates professionalism, models integrity and confidentiality, and displays characteristics supportive of the ideal company culture. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine layout for mechanical systems. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and flexible communication style. Ability to communicate with a variety of personalities and technical backgrounds. Highly organized, skilled at prioritizing multiple tasks, self-directed, and manages time effectively. Adapts easily to changing duties and responsibilities. Works well within a team environment. Thorough working knowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and associated pneumatic, electronic and other programmable logic controls. Service industry experience is a plus.
