Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK. - Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. - Responsible for reserving tee times and ensuring that players are started in a timely manner. - Takes and records requests and cancellations for start times to play golf in accordance with proper procedures. - Reserves golf carts as requested. - Provides players with description of the course and other available facilities at sign-in. - Directs players to golf carts and first green and ensures that players tee off at designated start times so that the flow of golf traffic proceeds smoothly throughout the day. - Maintains and updates player records in order to establish a list of players for Special Event invitations. - Maintains and reports golf scores as requested for handicapping purposes. - Provides superior customer service to players; handles player special requests and answers questions regarding the facility. - Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. - Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters. BRING US YOUR BEST. - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. - Must have knowledge of the game of golf. - Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. - Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. - Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. - Must have basic computer skills. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Ability to write routine reports and keep accurate and neat records. - Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs dictate.
