ColonialWebb is seeking a talented, and career minded Commissioning Technician to join our team. As Commissioning Technician, you will perform start-up and commissioning services for medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems.

What you will do:

Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times. This applies to the individual as well as his/her truck, tools, and equipment as well as customer property Maintain strict adherence to all company safety rules, regulations, procedures and practices Perform start-up and repairs as defined in work orders Oversee work of apprentices and helpers Obtain purchase orders and make small purchases required during the performance of work, including maintaining sufficient standard truck inventory; conduct inventory of all standard truck stock as required Keep the Commissioning Supervisor informed of location at all times to include: current location, last stop and next stop) Provide training to building owners and apprentices Attend periodic meetings with supervisor as required to review work progress and potential problems felt to be beyond his/her ability or authority Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

What we are looking for:

Possess knowledge of current BOCA Code and OSHA safety regulations Possess HVAC Journeyman’s or Master’s license Possess EPA approved CFC Certification Ability to work within precise standards of accuracy, make decisions based on measurable criteria and comprehend technical data Ability to work independently without direct supervision Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and remain calm when handling emergencies Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand. Unscheduled overtime may be required, as necessary
