We now have an exciting opportunity for a State Director located in Sydney to lead over 70 stores across two incredible brands, Sunglass Hut and Oakley.
This role would be an excellent next step for a current retail State Director who is looking to elevate their career to managing a larger portfolio across two diverse brands!

You will be responsible for:
Set challenging goals and leads team toward stretch targets within specific timeframes. Regularly assesses performance and have the ability to turn around underperforming regions and stores. Develop long term strategic business plans that support sustained sales growth and profitability. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive innovation and stay ahead of industry trends. Promote the learning and development of direct reports – coach and mentor others to build their knowledge and expertise. Align people strategy with business strategy by developing a pipeline of future leaders Manage budget and comply with internal financial processes and controls using your in depth knowledge of financial resources to manage assets under your control. Solve difficult problems and create effective and innovative solutions, proactively working with internal and external partners to improve processes and overcome barriers, in turn minimising current and future issues.
What you will bring
Multi-site management of a retail business in specialty or FMCG environments Working knowledge of Australian or New Zealand territories Demonstrated ability to improve customer outcomes and performance standards through on the job training and coaching. Exposure to profit & loss statements, workforce planning and labour management Retail Management qualifications desirable Business‐related tertiary qualifications desirable Minimum 10 years’ experience in a management role. Internal candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Regional Manager role.
