\nSeeking state inspector/mechanic for busy shop.
\nThis position will entail: State inspections, alignments/suspension work, brake work, general service duties-oil changes/rotations, etc.
\nTraining provided for right candidate, state inspection licenses a must. Must have an acceptable driving record.
\n
\nRequirements:\n\n\tValid driver’s license\n\tState Inspection License\n\tMust have own tools\n\tMust have clean MVR, Drug Test\n\nJob Descriptions:\n\n\n\tInspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.\n\tMaintain vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.\n\tVerify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.\n\tComply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.\n\tMaintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.\n\tKeep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.\n\tKeep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.\n\n
