Formed in 1984, HIAIS is as a joint venture between two leaders in their respective industries, Aon and the Housing Industry Association (HIA). State Manager VIC/TAS Due to continuous growth and a strong strategic roadmap, we are currently seeking a State Manager to accelerate growth within our Victorian and Tasmanian HIAIS business. The State Manager will be responsible for the performance of the regional business and its client retention, new business development, revenue generation, compliance, and growth. To be considered for this role you must have proven experience in a role similar in the insurance industry. Who are Aon and HIA? What the day will look like: Delivering the profitable and sustainable growth of your business unit. Developing and maintaining the appropriate infrastructure, resources and expertise to meet sales, service and administration requirements. Driving new business initiatives and growth across your client servicing teams. The provision of strategic and commercial direction for your regional business. Developing best-in-class client relationships, enhancing client experiences and improving interdependency sales opportunities. Manage relationships with wider Aon teams promoting collaboration and driving mutually beneficial growth outcomes. Lead the acquisition and engagement of HIAIS’s major clients and prospects. Providing leadership and motivation to staff driving a positive and high achieving culture. Assisting in the development and implementation of client and underwriter service methodologies. Monitoring Quality Assurance and ensuring compliance with agreed business and industry standards. Mentoring and coaching staff to develop and deliver customer service standards that provide the highest level of service and enhance business performance. Identifying and implementing strategies for client retention. Working in partnership with your Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Business Partners to deliver best in class recruitment, onboarding, training and staff development / retention strategies. Skills and experience that will lead to success We are looking for an individual with well-developed leadership skills and the ability to make sound business decisions. Demonstrated experience within the Insurance industry (ideally within Building and Construction). Experience in leading a team and working within a National Leadership team. Strong communications and presentation skills. Highly developed skills in engaging with senior stakeholders at an Executive level. CPA Qualifications would be highly advantageous.
