State Street Global Advisors is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President to join our Insurance Team. Within the Client Coverage Group (CCG), you will support the Managing Director, Head of US Insurance, in executing the strategy to deepen our client relationships and expand our presence within the Insurance sector. This role will involve close collaboration with senior leadership, clients and internal stakeholders to drive growth in the insurance vertical and enhance client satisfaction.
As Institutional Insurance Sales, VP II:
Strategy Execution – assist the Managing Director of Insurance in developing and refining the strategy for the Insurance Segment , ensuring alignment with SSGA’s broader commercial objectivesSales & Distribution – Lead initiatives to promote SSGA’s investment capabilities and products within the insurance sector. Implement strategic sales plans to increase assets under management and the use of SSGA productsMarket Expertise – Utilize deep knowledge of the insurance market to position SSGA’s products and services effectively. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to identify new opportunitiesBusiness Development – Identify and drive major growth opportunities, including expanding into new market segments in partnership with the business office’s Subject Matter Experts. Develop and execute business plans to enhance SSGA’s footprint in the insurance asset management spaceCross Functional Collaboration – Work collaboratively with other parts of State Street to leverage resources and drive holistic client solutions. Navigate complex organizational structures to achieve strategic objectivesData Driven Insights – Utilize data and analytics to optimize sales strategies and improve client experience. Monitor progress towards sales targets and adjust targets as neededInternal Client Segment:

Institutional client segment – Traders, PMs, analysts, due diligence teams etc.Participate in Industry events for business development and to raise the visibility of SSGA in the Insurance spaceEducation & Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferredSeries 7 and 63 licenses requiredMinimum of 10 years' experience in investment management or insurance industryStrong understanding of insurance company needs across balance sheet and annuity platformsProven track record of success in sales and client relationship managementExperience in ETF sales & ecosystem, insurance sensitive products and fixed income preferredExperience as a strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunitiesInvestment industry designations such as CFA or CIMA are a plusAbility to learn quickly and demonstrate industry and product knowledgeAbility to build relationships within our team, across our organization, and with our clientsStrong ethics, a strong risk radar and dedicated to approach and resolve issuesAre you the right candidate?
