Strategic Planning & Operations Manager
**What you will do**
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for operationalizing the strategic goals for Global Patient Safety, specifically, providing planning and operations support to the GPS Therapeutic Areas within Safety. This role will work closely with the GPS Strategic, Planning & Operations Assoc. Director and key stakeholders within Safety as well as cross-functional teams. This is a global role and will be interacting with various levels of management.
Responsibilities
+ Developing strong collaborative relationships with internal partners to support and proactively respond to business needs including progress of functional goals and other functional process improvements.
+ Leading coordination and facilitation of various TA Safety projects such as proactive planning, high-level strategy, gathering information and pressing the organization to meet the required deadlines.
+ Partnering with GPS Strategic Planning & Operations team to explore alignments in cross-functional processes and find innovative solutions that elevate the strategic values of Global Patient Safety.
+ Collaborating to support organization wide initiatives including creating and managing organizational communication and staff engagement plans.
+ Establishing a fit for purpose expense management strategies to support planning, tracking and reporting in Anaplan. Work closely with budget coordinator partners to ensure appropriate budgeting process.
+ Ensuring adherence to corporate training and compliance requirements.
+ Providing staff operations support including headcount management, open headcount/requisition tracking and reconciliations to ensure the best resource allocation aligned with the organization’s strategic direction.
+ Organization’s meeting management including All-Staffs, Joint Leadership Teams, cross-functional collaborations and operating reviews.

**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Doctorate degree OR
+ Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR
+ Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience OR
+ Associate’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience OR
+ High school diploma / GED and 10 years of relevant experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree
+ SharePoint Design
+ Smartsheet Experience
+ Understanding of project management methodologies, tools and processes
+ Biopharmaceutical industry experience
+ Project management certification
+ Working knowledge of professional services suppliers, and outsourcing business models and tools
+ Budget and project management experience preferred
+ Quick learner, proactive creative thinker & continuous innovation mentality
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for effective relationship building
+ Results oriented, goal driven and sense of accountability
+ Proven insight and proactive problem solving through creative and pragmatic solutions
+ Strong facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills particularly in a cross-functional environment
+ Ability to organize, interpret, communicate information effectively
+ Proficient in Project Management tools and processes (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Teams, SharePoint)

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
