Statistical Forecaster At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world. **Job Overview** Data Collection and Analysis: + Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources. + Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies. Model Development: + Build and test statistical models (e.g., time series analysis, regression, machine learning algorithms) to forecast key business metrics. + Continuously refine forecasting models based on performance and accuracy. + Assess market data and indices for forecast correlation. + Simulate the impacts of New Product Introduction (NPI), pricing changes and channel packages. Reporting and Visualization: + Generate clear, concise reports on forecasting results and model performance. + Prepare data models and insights for loading into visualization tools (eg. Tableau / Power BI). Collaboration: + Work with other departments, such as sales, finance, and product management, to understand business needs and provide forecasts that support strategic decision-making. + Assist demand planners in interpreting forecasts and explaining model assumptions to non-technical teams. Performance Monitoring: + Regularly track the accuracy of forecasting models and adjust as necessary. + Use performance metrics to evaluate model success and make improvements..
