**Job Overview**
Data Collection and Analysis:
+ Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources.
+ Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Model Development:
+ Build and test statistical models (e.g., time series analysis, regression, machine learning algorithms) to forecast key business metrics.
+ Continuously refine forecasting models based on performance and accuracy.
+ Assess market data and indices for forecast correlation.
+ Simulate the impacts of New Product Introduction (NPI), pricing changes and channel packages.
Reporting and Visualization:
+ Generate clear, concise reports on forecasting results and model performance.
+ Prepare data models and insights for loading into visualization tools (eg. Tableau / Power BI).
Collaboration:
+ Work with other departments, such as sales, finance, and product management, to understand business needs and provide forecasts that support strategic decision-making.
+ Assist demand planners in interpreting forecasts and explaining model assumptions to non-technical teams.
Performance Monitoring:
+ Regularly track the accuracy of forecasting models and adjust as necessary.
+ Use performance metrics to evaluate model success and make improvements..
Forecasting Best Practices:
+ Stay up-to-date with advancements in statistical forecasting techniques and software.
+ Implement best practices for data handling, model selection, and validation.
**What your background should look like:**
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
+ Proven experience in statistical modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
+ Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS.
+ Strong understanding of time series analysis, regression models, and other predictive analytics techniques.
+ Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex statistical concepts to non- technical audiences.
+ Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

+ Experience of S&OP Process
+ Experience in Demand Planning
+ Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
