1. About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Statutory & Regulatory Professional to join our Siemens Real Estate team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements across various disciplines such as Civil, Architecture, Interior, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, Environmental, and more. Department – Siemens Real Estate (SRE)

2. Key Responsibilities

As the Statutory & Regulatory Professional, your responsibilities will include:

Statutory Compliance & Approvals

Ensure project design and execution comply with applicable laws, National Building Code (NBC), Bureau of Indian Standards, Factory Act, Corporation Rules and local norms. Review and verify various engineering designs, drawings, layouts and statutory & regulatory proposals for scrutiny and approvals with respective authorities Facilitate the preparation of site plans, online/offline applications, FSI calculations, firefighting layouts, and other required documents.

Regulatory Coordination

Ensure the implementation of approval processes for factories, environment, electrical, water, and more. Coordinate with local authorities, including MIDC, GIDC, DISH, Pollution Control Boards, PESO and other statutory bodies.

Environmental Clearances

Support the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), data collection, and engineering investigations for compliance with MOEF/CPCB norms. Obtain Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate certificates.

Special Approvals

Assist with statutory requirements for fuel tanks, tree authority permissions, and weights & measurement compliance.

Support & Guidance

Advise on statutory application fees and documentation requirements. Ensure presence during statutory inspections by local authorities at key project stages.

3. Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent fields. Experience: 10+ years of experience in statutory compliance for industrial/commercial projects.

Key Skills

Professional Skills: - 

§  knowledge of the Factories Act, National Building Code, and local development regulations.

§  Familiarity with regulatory processes for MIDC, GIDC, MOEF, CPCB, CEI, and local municipal authorities.

§  Expertise in preparing technical drawings, site plans, and documentation for statutory approvals.
