Summary: Maintains the reservation book by taking reservations and walk-ins. Greets guests and escorts them to the appropriate table. Assists Manager in preparing venue for service and maintaining the cleanliness and flow of the room
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members. Answer the telephone with in 3 rings to be able to book reservations. Maintain the reservation book with guest name, phone number, time and amount of guest in each party. Maintain the professional appearance of the hostess stand. Properly present clean menus to our guests. Properly Clean, Disinfect and Inspect all menus, discarding worn ones. Monitor the waiting line to determine if there are large parties waiting. Supply guests with information on services available at the Hotel/Casino, including all our restaurants. Handle initial guest complaints. Inform Manager immediately of any problems or concerns. Ensure that all tables are properly set at the start of each shift. Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards Perform other duties as assigned
