They are looking for a motivated and experienced Steel Trader to drive the growth of their Steel Trading business in the Benelux and France regions. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, reporting on market trends, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

Build and expand the steel customer base in Benelux and France, focusing on Hot Rolled (HR) and HR Plate steel products. Track and report on market trends, customer needs, and industry changes to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with Samsung C&T’s HQ and the Germany office to develop and implement trading strategies. Travel across the EU and internationally to engage with clients and explore new business opportunities.

What you bring:

Over 3 years of experience in carbon steel trading, with a strong focus on Hot Rolled and HR Plate steel products. A solid understanding of steel market dynamics, including supply and demand trends and customer networks in Benelux and France. Fluent in English, with additional language skills being a plus. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships. A proactive, independent, and results-driven approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
