Steering and Governance Program Manager Europe

What you do

Steering and Governance Program Manager will ensure strategic alignment within Markets area in Europe and report directly to the Regional Managing Director Europe. In this position you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders at both Group and Business Unit level. You will get topmanagement insights, lead and participate in strategically key projects and serve as a key communication interface to a wide range of internal business stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will be:

Governance & Steering

Drive a rhythm on continuous improvements, establish and strengthen governance review and steering mechanism that enhances overall effectiveness, streamlines workflows and optimizes efficiency Lead or facilitate the delivery of key projects in an effective and efficient manner Establish and strengthen governance review and steering mechanism to ensure meet all regulatory requirements within the Markets area in our region

Continuous improvement

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize resource utilization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and local BUs to implement best practices, provide insights and recommendation to steer initiatives to contribute to overall Markets strategy within the region Build an interface between senior management and key stakeholders within the organization Collect and prepare information for meetings (with external/internal stakeholders) and follow-up on action items Track activities against strategic plan, contribute to the team's top priorities

Strategic Steering

Provide insights and recommendation to steer initiatives to contribute to overall regional Markets strategy. Establish proactive remediation plans for areas requiring improvement in agreement with RMD. Drive rhythm to track actions on such critical areas Set and track savings targets from new initiatives and ideas.

Analysis & Reporting

Conduct analytics and forecasting, prepare high quality and high complex content to track metrics trends Prepare and present performance report to key stakeholder, highlighting achievements or areas for improving. Consolidate and follow-up on data from internal and external stakeholders to produce different reports, status quo analysis or business cases

What you bring

10 years experience in business administration, finance, consulting, project management with relevant studies Good understanding of insurance and assistance business Excellent communication to manage complex data and build action plans Pro-active and independent working style with ability to deliver high-quality results under time pressure, handling many topics in parallel Strong analytical skills, data affinity, able to produce high-quality deliverables, draw decisions based on data and be able to identify areas of concern or opportunities Intercultural sensitivity and international experience, as well as capability to interact with key decision makers, including senior leaders Highly developed interpersonal skills (i.e. communication, presentation and negotiation) Performance oriented, self-motivated, and problem-solving skills Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment, with short-notice requests & experience in complex multi-stakeholder settings Very strong knowledge of MS Office (excellent skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel) English business fluent, additional language is a plus
