Designed as temporary support for the Associate Director of the Student Center, this position focuses on providing administrative and operational assistance to keep things running smoothly without taking on full oversight responsibilities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Support for Access Control and Security Operations Assist with programming and assigning access levels and door schedules for facilities under the guidance of the Student Center Director Associate. Perform routine checks and assist in reporting issues with the Access Control system. Monitor and report non-functioning security cameras to UKPD, ensuring updates are communicated to stakeholders. Facilities Safety and Maintenance Support Act as a secondary point of contact for facility safety and operational concerns. Coordinate routine communication with Physical Plant staff and contractors to ensure progress on maintenance and repairs. Assist with scanning, gathering data and maintaining records for UK Annual Capital Equipment and Facilities Inventory. Provide administrative support for scheduling and tracking building systems maintenance activities. Monitor and report doors that cannot be properly secured to Facilities Management, ensuring timely communication and resolution to maintain safety and security standards. Administrative Support Provide administrative support for managing daily operations of Student Center Shipping and Receiving under the direction of the Student Center Director Associate. Maintain records related to training logs, and compliance documentation. Serve as a point of contact for routine operational inquiries and escalate issues to the Student Center Director Associate as needed. Support for Facility Policies and Procedures Assist in reviewing and updating operational policies and procedures, as directed by the Student Center Director Associate. Monitor and report compliance issues related to facility policies, ensuring actions are communicated to the appropriate personnel. Provide logistical support for coordinating event layouts and ensuring adherence to established policies. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Accuracy and attention to detail. Dependability and service orientation. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Effective communication and teamwork. Ability to adapt and provide timely support in a dynamic environment.
