Description:

The field of Home Infusion Pharmacy has revolutionized healthcare, providing patients with personalized, lifesaving therapy from the comfort of their home and the freedom to resume life’s daily activities. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented pharmacy technician to join our expanding team of sterile compounding experts and play a pivotal role in delivering these lifesaving services. As a key member of our team, this position is responsible for the handling, preparation, compounding, and distribution of medications, as well as maintaining the integrity of our sterile compounding suite. A strong candidate is one that embraces our culture of strict adherence to local policies and <USP 797> guidelines, vigilantly  supports their teammates, and continually pursues personal improvement opportunities”. 

Schedule is Monday thru Friday rotating shifts between the hours of 7:00AM and 6:30PM, and a rotating Saturday shift and on-call week every 13 weeks (~4 times per year).

Prior sterile compounding experience is preferred.

High School Diploma/GED is required.    Requires Indiana Pharmacy Tech-In Training OR Indiana Pharmacy Technician License OR intern/extern license if enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy.    Requires Pharmacy Technician National Certification within one year of hire unless enrolled in accredited college of pharmacy or enrolled in or graduated from an ASHP/ACPE accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.    Requires the absence of criminal history related to the ability to work with drugs.    Requires strong mathematical calculation skills. Requires ability to learn basic pharmacy technician skills in assigned areas and work under close supervision or under clearly defined procedures. Requires ability to learn effective written and communication skills.    Requires ability to learn and execute customer services skills. Requires basic proficiency typing and using Microsoft office applications.
