Job Description

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Sterile Processing,  and working technical leadership of an assigned team leader, cleans, sterilizes, assembles, packages, labels and distributes equipment and supplies utilized in patient care procedures.

 

Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications

Registration/Certification/Licensure: 

IAHCSMM certification preferred

Experience:

No specific experience is required.

Education:

Successful completion of a high school education or a minimum of three years experience in an SPD or Central Supply area which involved the sterile cleaning and decontamination of equipment and supplies in a health care environment
