**Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 12P - 8:30P, rotating weekends and holidays on-call.**
**Job Summary:** The Sterile Processing Technician will work under indirect supervision to disassemble, clean, assemble, sterilize and store procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic technique; High School Graduate or GED required complete requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assist to maintain and process patient charge records and maintain department inventory. Experience: .
**Qualifications** :
+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Certified Central Service Technician or; a minimum of five (5) year’s experience as a Central Service Technician/Operating Room Technician
+ Certification in Sterile Processing preferred.
+ Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Understanding of surgical instrumentation and sterilization processes.
+ Ability to follow strict protocols and maintain attention to detail.
+ Knowledge of infection control policies and standard precautions.
+ Proficiency in operating sterilization equipment and performing routine maintenance.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
