ATTRIBUTES
One (1) year of previous experience preferredExcellent customer service and communication skillsSuccessfully passed a nationally accredited central service exam and hold and maintain one of the following credentials: Certified Registered Central Service Technician credentialCertified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician credentialRESPONSIBILITIES
Processing. Process surgical instrumentation and durable medical equipment for reuse, including decontamination, inspection, preparation, packaging and sterilization; understand and comply with all universal precautions and procedures; assemble instrument sets, diagnostic and treatment trays for user departments; issue and deliver supplies and linen Transportation. Move materials (regulated medical waste, trash, soiled linen, soiled patient equipment and recyclable) throughout complex, following specific time tablesRecord Management. Maintain records, inventories, use of materials, placement of equipment (including surgical case carts), within each area servicedPAY SUMMARY:
