Job Summary Available Sterile Processing Technician Positions: M-F 7AM-3:30PM; Weekend and Holiday Rotation; (Training on Day Shift for 12 weeks) M-F 11PM-7:30AM; Weekend and Holiday Rotation; (Training on Day Shift for 12 weeks) Processes used surgical instruments Assembles and wraps packs Restocks storage areas and relieves other aides Receives and dispenses supplies and equipment Performs cleaning, assembling, preparation and sterilization duties in Central Sterile Processing as directed #READ Qualifications Education Requirements High School Diploma - OR - GED Experience Within 18 months of hire must hold a certification from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Certification and Licensure HSPA Cert or CBSPD Cert required within 18 months of hire Required Skills Excellent Communications Skills Excellent Interpersonal Skills Microsoft Office Applications Overview Tower Health, a regional healthcare system, serves communities across multiple counties in Pennsylvania.
