**Sterile Processing Tech** **1st Shift** **Rotating holiday & weekends** As a Sterile Process Tech, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Our staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling **Requirements:** + **High School Diploma or GED required.** + **Prior knowledge of basic principles of sterilization, surgical instrumentation, and disinfecting is preferred. Communication skills, listening abilities, ability to deal with stress, ability to react to emergency and crisis situations.** + **Must be a registered certified central service technician within 18 months of hire.** + **Current BLS from the AHA or ARC** **About the Job:** + Sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care. + Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
