**Requirements:**
+ Previous experience with hospital equipment and/or Sterile Processing and in a Surgical environment.
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Current Central Sterile certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician, or by IAHSMM as a Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician, required.
**About the Job:**
+ The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
+ The Sterile Processing Technician oversees the sterilization procedures and testing for each piece of sterilization equipment in both Sterile Processing and the Surgery Department.
+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
