**Requirements:**
+ Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of related experience.
+ Current BLS from AHA or ARC.
+ Prefers previous sterile processing experience.
+ Has successfully passed a nationally accredited central service examfor central service technicians and holds and maintains a certified registered central service technician credential administered by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) or a certified sterile processing and distribution technician credential administered by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD).

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7a-3pm, NO CALL, NO WEEKENDs, NO HOLIDAYS

**About the Job:**
+ Sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care.
+ Follow established protocols for cleaning, decontaminating, preparing and packaging, disinfecting or sterilizing, and storing medical and surgical supplies and equipment.
+ Distribute medical and surgical supplies from sterile processing areas to other areas within the department or facility as needed.
+ Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
+ Works under immediate supervision.
