**Overview** CHI Health St. Francis was established in Grand Island Neb. in 1887. Today our hospital is a regional referral center with more than 100 physicians and more than 1100 employees working together to build a healthier community. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home where they can be supported by their family friends and community. **Responsibilities** Most qualified contacted by email. 1. equipment following Policy/Procedure, Industry Standards, and manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFU). 2. Practices Universal Precautions and follows OSHA requirements at all time. 3. Assists with daily/weekly testing and logging of all mechanical equipment, including but not limited to Mechanical Washers, Sonic, all Sterilizers. 4. Maintains accurate and legible documentation. 5. Assists with the routine maintenance of instrumentation by identification of items needing repair. 6. Follows procedure for set assembly utilizing Instrument Checklists and/or Instrument Tracking where available. 7. Where applicable: Completes case cart assembly by adding needed instrumentation to the case cart. Assist with OR Room Turnover Cleaning and HLD of GI Scopes, Bronchoscopes, TEE Probes **Qualifications** Required: High School diploma or GED Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in field and Certification by CBSPD or IAHCSMM. **Pay Range** $14.78 - $20.33 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
