As our Sterile Processing Tech at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs, you’ll help our team oversee the sterilization and cleaning of medical equipment, instruments or supplies in a sterile processing environment.
To be a successful sterile processing technician, you should be meticulous with strong attention to detail. You should have a good working knowledge of a variety of sterilization techniques and be able to work with fragile equipment.

Responsibilities
Monitor and operate sterilization equipmentExamine supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitizedTest and report any issues or problems with the sterilization equipmentSterilize, prepare, wrap and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical proceduresPrepare and deliver all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries, examinations, medical procedures and medical cartsMaintain records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance and supplies
Qualifications
High School Diploma, or GED Required Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred
