Position Summary:
Processes supplies, instruments and equipment. Restocks and maintains storage of supplies and case cart
system. Assists in other departmental functions/duties as needed or directed to assure safe, effective,
efficient, speedy patient care.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Processes medical instruments, supplies, and equipment following established procedures.Maintains inventory and ensures proper labeling and availability of sterile packs and supplies.Reports equipment malfunctions and procedural issues to maintain safety and efficiency.Participates in ongoing education and in-service training programs.Assists with the upkeep and proper functioning of department equipment and supplies.Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
Minimum Education: Post high school vocational/specialized training (experience may substitute).
Minimum Experience: CRCST certification or 1 year of sterile processing experience in an acute care setting.
Required Training: Ongoing education in surgical and medical technology through in-services or courses.
Required Certification: CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications: CRCST certification preferred.
