As a Sterile Processing Tech at Northwest Medical Center Houghton, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:
Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
1 year Central Sterilization experience
About the Job:
Performs all aspects of the sterilization process including decontamination, assembly, packaging and the biological and chemical monitoring of the sterilizers. Acts as a resource to the operating room staff. Responsible for requisitioning all autoclaving supplies, instruments and implantable devices used in the daily operation of the department. Sterilizes, cleans, wraps, stores and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment used in patient care. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
