Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Our Perioperative function supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually. Statement of Purpose:
Working as a part of a team, the position involves different assignments in all aspects in the processing of a full range of surgical instrumentation. Assembles properly inspected, processed surgical instruments, carts, and equipment according to kit lists to meet the demands of quality patient care. Restocking of the specialty carts for use by various departments of the hospital.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a Sterile Processing certificate course.
Certification / License: Certification by a Sterile Processing Association. Maintain
re-certification with 12 education credits annually.
MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
