Sterile Processing Technician *F/T Nights*

Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Little Co of Mary Medical Ctr-Torrance. This position is for Full-time and will work 8-hour Night Shift. 
 

Under supervision the Central Tech II processes, sterilizes equipment and instrumentation. The Tech II issues and receives supplies and equipment according to established procedures and maintains an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status.  The Tech II is responsible for receiving and responding to all calls for product, equipment and supplies.

Required qualifications:

Coursework/Training and must have successfully completed a recognized Central Service Technician course and keep Continuing Education Units (CEU) updated and on file. Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution  2 years of experience in Central Service. Experience in general office practices and procedures, purchasing practices, business ethics and prudent buyer concepts.
