About Us:
Milford Regional Medical Center is a full-service, community and regional teaching hospital, with 145 beds, providing acute-care serving a region of 20-plus towns. Our Perioperative function supports 8 operating rooms and approximately 7,000 cases annually. Statement of Purpose:
The incumbent directs proper care and storage of supplies and equipment used in patient care. The Sterile Processing Technician/Trainee is an active participant in our Sterile Processing Education Program.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Certification / License:
Experience:
Willing to train or previous formal on-the-job training in sterile processing; Previous experience in sterile processing; or Previous formal training in a related field, e.g., Surgical Technology.MRMC Differentials:
Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $4.75 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
