Sterilization Tech

Job Description: Operate and monitor steam autoclaves, sonic washers, and other sterilizing equipment.   Prepares, inspects, and assembles trays or packages of items for sterilization.   Collects, cleans, and disinfects patient care equipment, laboratory equipment, surgical instruments, tools, and other miscellaneous equipment.   Clean sterilizing equipment.   Responsible for proper packaging, sealing, and return delivery.   Maintain necessary supply levels in sterile storage areas.   Record sterilizer test results.   Stock and inventory crash carts Expected Salary:

$15.00 - $17.00/hr, commensurate with education/experience

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED). 

Preferred Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures   Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices   Ability to operate sterilization equipment safely and effectively   Basic understanding of dental terminology   Manual dexterity for handling delicate instruments   Ability to work independently and as part of a team Special Instructions to Applicants:
